Erdman Anthony Appoints Three New Associates

ROCHESTER, NY, July 22—The Erdman Anthony board of directors has appointed two new associates and one senior associate in its Rochester office. Dennis Catherman and Kevin McCarthy were named associates and Stephen Percassi Jr., PE, was named a senior associate.

Dennis Catherman has more than 33 years of construction inspection experience with detailed expertise in both bridge and highway construction. He currently serves as chief inspector on the Rochester office’s largest construction inspection project—the New York State Thruway exist 39-40 highway replacement project. He received a B.S. in civil engineering from Clarkson University. Catherman lives in Waterloo.

Kevin McCarthy has more than 37 years of construction experience, including the last two spent off-site in Cortland working on the U.S. Route 281 project. He earned an AAS in civil engineering from Monroe Community College and is certified NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) Level IV engineering technician. McCarthy lives in Irondequoit.

New senior associate Stephen Percassi Jr., PE, specializes in seismic bridge engineering and has led the firm’s transportation engineering services group into new service areas during his 10 years with Erdman Anthony. He received a bachelor of science and a master’s degree in civil engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo and holds professional engineer licensure in New York, Maine, Pennsylvania and Vermont. Percassi lives in Riga.
