Marysville Revitalization Project Field Survey, Borough of Marysville

Erdman Anthony provided professional survey services to support the Borough of Marysville's revitalization effort within its central business district. The objective of the revitalization plan is the physical reconstruction or improvement of the borough's historical structure facades, walkways, and thoroughfares. Accordingly, an accurately produced base map was the required underpinning for practical decision making and engineering calculation. Erdman Anthony's survey focused on public utilities, sidewalks, streets, curbing, and housing details like porches, steps, and building footprints. Our staff also surveyed bridge details and features within the barrel of a 500-foot-long roadway tunnel. A portion of the Susquehanna River's bottomland and the property bounds of a borough-owned parcel were surveyed for the design of a new boat landing. Survey data was collected at a sufficient density to produce a one-foot contour interval map.
