NYSERDA New Construction Program

As a Technical Assistant for New York State Energy Research and Development Authority’s (NYSERDA) New Construction Program, Erdman Anthony works with program applicants to analyze energy efficiency opportunities in new or substantially renovated buildings. In this capacity, our firm plays a lead role in transforming the marketplace by encouraging building owners, architects and engineers to choose more energy efficient and sustainable solutions.

Erdman Anthony, on behalf of NYSERDA, offers technical assistance in the form of:

Evaluation of alternative opportunities for improving energy efficiency by performing energy modeling, simulation of facilities’ operations and life cycle cost analyses.

  • Technical assistance to provide project consulting and credit analysis, as well as supporting documentation for submission to the United States Green Building Council for LEED Certification.

As a Technical Assistance provider, Erdman Anthony’s senior building design personnel work closely with building design teams to evaluate and incorporate energy efficient and environmentally aware systems. Some of the services provided include:

  • Engineering feasibility and technical assistance studies

  • Detailed analyses of specific energy projects

  • Detailed energy audits

  • Coincident peak-load reduction studies

  • Process improvement studies

  • Implementation assistance
