UR Medicine’s Wilmot Cancer Institute, Survey and Utility Engineering

Erdman Anthony was retained to provide base mapping survey services and utilities extension design for the UR Medicine’s Wilmot Cancer Institute. Field survey and base mapping services were provided along approximately 2,500 linear feet of utility corridor.

Extended utilities included electrical, chilled and hot water, sanitary, domestic water, and telecommunications. The existing dual 11.5-kV distribution system was evaluated and extended to carry 100% of the loading affiliated with the then-new cancer institute, while providing expansion capabilities in accordance with the university's master plan.

Our firm provided civil and site-design services for all utilities and site-restoration services for the reconstruction of East Drive, including grading, erosion and sediment control plans, stormwater pollution prevention plan preparation, and stormwater management.
