SR 0095-CP2 – Cottman-Princeton Mainline and Ramps

Erdman Anthony is the prime consultant providing construction inspection services for the complex Cottman Avenue-Princeton Avenue project, which consists of reconstruction and widening of the SR 0095 mainline (average daily traffic: 128,000) to four lanes in each direction. Construction will include one  new on-ramp to I-95 South, upgrades to four  existing ramps, upgrades and/or relocation of several local streets, demolition/replacement of seven  structurally deficient bridges, widening of one  bridge, relocation of water and sewer lines, new stormwater drainage, construction of 13 retaining walls, ITS upgrades, traffic signals, ADA curb ramps, and other miscellaneous construction.
 
Street trees, decorative lighting, and other aesthetic treatments will be incorporated into the project. There will also be improvements for transit users, bicyclists, and pedestrians. 
 
This contract follows Erdman Anthony’s $34 million CP1 project that included two new ramps and roadway improvements to Cottman Avenue, Princeton Avenue, and State Road.
