Erdman Anthony provided the design for the reconstruction of 3.75 miles of four- and five-lane urban arterial through the City of Batavia's central business district, with traffic volumes of up to 34,000 vehicles per day. Erdman Anthony provided the full range of services, including scoping, preparation of an expanded project proposal, design reports, SHPO coordination, environmental assessment, NEPA checklist, preliminary and final designs, community and public participation program, right-of-way mapping and acquisition, extensive and significant utility coordination, bidding- and award-phase assistance, construction-phase support services, and construction inspection.
