Chad Martin, PE , PTOE, a senior design engineer in the transportation group at Erdman Anthony’s Harrisburg office, has been appointed to the executive board of the Mid-Atlantic Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (MASITE). 

In his role serving as MASITE’s central area coordinator, Chad will organize and moderate technical meetings and plan social events for the Central PA section, participate in monthly MASITE board meetings, and provide section updates for the MASITE newsletter.

Founded in 1930, the Institute of Transportation Engineers is a network of nearly  17,000 members – in more than 90 countries – whose work helps build smart and livable communities. Members include transportation engineers, transportation planners, consultants, educators, technologists, and researchers committed to improving mobility and safety for all transportation-system users.
