ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Rochester-based multidisciplinary engineering firm Erdman Anthony has hired Branden Farnsworth-Weinblatt, PE, CPD, to be the mechanical engineering department manager. Mr. Farnsworth-Weinblatt will lead the firm’s mechanical engineers in the Northeast, and he will be charged with expanding the firm’s mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection) capabilities, handling client development, and staff mentoring.
An Ontario, New York, resident, Mr. Farnsworth-Weinblatt has nearly 20 years of experience in the mechanical engineering field. Over the course of his career, he has handled complex design projects for numerous health care, education, and municipal clients, including leading the design for the transformation of an abandoned building to a morale, welfare, and recreation facility for troops and their families at Fort Drum in Jefferson County.
Branden graduated from Alfred State College’s School of Architecture, Management, and Engineering Technology with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology. He is a licensed professional engineer in New York and Pennsylvania, and he has certification in plumbing design from the American Society of Plumbing Engineers. He currently serves on the industrial advisory board at his alma mater.
