The City of West Palm Beach, Florida, has made significant infrastructure improvements on Spruce Avenue, including addressing corridor aesthetics, rehabilitating asphalt pavement, and implementing advisory bicycle lanes — a unique road-sharing concept in the Old Northwood and Northboro Park historic districts.

Erdman Anthony provided engineering design services for the project, including improving stormwater-drainage flow, replacing sidewalks, emphasizing traffic-calming elements, landscaping with native flora, and adding signs, pavement markings, sidewalks, and ADA-compliant curb ramps. 

Phase I of the project is now complete.
