The New York State County Highway Superintendents Association (NYSCHSA) gathered in downtown Rochester from August 22 to 25 for an annual summer conference that provides education, training, and engagement opportunities for county highway and public works professionals, professional engineers, land surveyors, and other industry professionals whose responsibilities include the building and maintenance of the state’s roads and bridges.
This year’s conference topics included battery electric vehicles, thickness design of low-volume roadway pavements, modern traffic-control methods, bridge preservation, and a presentation on the replacement of the Lorings Crossing Bridge over the east branch of the Tioughnioga River in Cortland County.
Members of Erdman Anthony’s Rochester office attended the event’s golf tournament and staffed a booth to showcase the company’s capabilities in developing innovative and cost-effective solutions for community roadways.
Erdman Anthony was a silver sponsor of the event.
